Artist Aaron Pyne relies on his spirituality to guide his artistic process. You can learn more about his latest creation at his Web site, spiritualart.topcities.com. Right now, check out five things that inspire Pyne to create new work.

Spirit. My main inspiration is God and the universe. It drives my every thought and action. A personal goal is to help bring a better understanding of God's peace and love to humanity.

Inspiration for the viewer. All of my art is an attempt to achieve a visual translation of the grand complexity and magnificence of God. I hope that the work will inspire the viewer to seek the divine within himself or herself. The idea is that when someone remembers the divinity within, it will emanate through his or her environment.

Indigo impulse. My internal connection with the Spirit is filtered through what is referred to as "Indigo" or "energy life pattern." This indigo energy is the underlying current in the consciousness of all those who feel a drive to bring about positive changes.

Meditation and prayer. Before I sit down to work, I search within myself to find inspiration for my next project.

Synchronicity. As I continue to put my inspired energy out into the world, it is brought back to me in a variety of ways. I feel that my life is affected in a manner beyond coincidental experiences. This helps to further inspire me as the universe is continuously bringing harmony to all aspects of my life.
