Enjoy a stroll through rows of beautiful and aromatic flowers this fall at the Krohn Conservatory.
Guests can enjoy lavender, rosemary, asters, succulents and, of course, mums at the Mounds of Mums floral show, which is being held through Oct. 17.
In a release, conservatory officials say this year’s display features a style of rock garden called a crevice garden that originated in the Czech Republic. They add that in a crevice garden, flat rocks are placed vertically in the ground, parallel to each other, thus creating a unique look much different from a traditional rock garden.
Miniature crevice gardens will also be on display in the showroom and are in hypertufa (lightweight concrete) planters. Some will be planted with hardy succulents and others with indoor succulents.
The planters will be raffled to those visiting the show. Each ticket purchased for admission will come with a free raffle ticket, but more can be purchased in the conservatory's gift shop.
Tickets are $10 for adults ages 18 and older, $7 for youth ages 5-17, and free for children ages 4 and under. The show is open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
All tickets for Mounds of Mums must be purchased at the door. All visitors must be masked while at Krohn Conservatory.
