What’s one day you’ll never forget? A person who changed everything? A color you’ll carry forever? Painted, by Cincinnati-based White Beard Productions, blends interviews and fiction, text and movement, theater and visual art.
“It’s about what makes us who we are,” says Kendall Karg, one of the performers who go through pints of washable pigment each night as the characters leave their marks. “It’s a reminder of all the paint we get splashed on us" — the gold of achievement, the red of romance, the deep blue wash of heartbreak. "There’s a reason why people are the way they are. They were created, they were sculpted, they were painted all their lives.”
Performed at Duveneck May 29 and 30 and June 3, 5 and 6 (see map of Fringe venues here)
