The explosive band — which features former Cincinnati musician GD Mills (that’s Sir Getsalottapuss to you, buddy) on stand-up drum kit and vocals — has been winning fans in the underground with a powder-keg brand of Punk Garage, merging the three-chord stomp of pre-Punk Nuggeteers with the ruthless velocity and in-your-faceness of early Hardcore brats like The Meatmen. With whiplash guitar from Sir Fuxalot and pummeling bass by Lord Ballahag, Mills, er, Getsalottapuss, unleashes a fury of breakneck beats and distorted, howl-at-the-moon vocals. For those missing the simplicity, velocity and immediacy of classic Punk Rock, if your ass isn’t at The Comet Friday, you may just as well go shopping for that shotgun anyway. Free.
