• This Saturday and Sunday at Eden Park marks the return of the Cincinnati Juneteenth Festival, an annual cultural event celebrating the end of slavery. The event features tons of music on two stages, beginning Saturday at 1:30 p.m. On the Seasongood Pavilion stage Saturday, local artists like Ms. Jaz, Basic Truth, New Brasil with Andre Souza, The Last Boppers and Soul Power with Nu Soul perform. Saturday’s headliners are popular ’70s Dayton Funk band Slave and Cincinnati ’80s hitmakers The Deele, which launched the careers of L.A. Reid and Babyface. Sunday’s 3 p.m. “Father’s Day” concert at Seasongood Pavilion will feature a wide range of local choirs and Gospel performers. • For many years, Rebecca Bedel (then Rebecca Vie) was well-known on the local open mic scene, hosting popular nights at clubs like Arlin’s and The Mad Frog. These days she’s following a different path — yoga — but she hasn’t given up on the musical side of things, recording several albums of healing/yoga music.
