CityBeat: What was the last great meal you ate and where did you have it?
Andrea Thompson: At home, the flavors of Latin
America are predominant in our kitchen since I am originally from
Ecuador.
I frequently make a dish similar to chicken stir-fry with
sausage, mixed vegetables and seasoned with traditional spicy Spanish
flair. I like to pair it with yummy, sweet plantains fried in oil.
CB: You’ve come up with some truly
unique combinations, everything from Purple Berry Chip to Double
Trouble. What flavor can we expect to see next coming from your
cupcakery?
AT: We’re always working on new flavors and are
happy to report a new sweet will make an appearance in a few weeks when
we deliver our second child, a son, due in September! Keep your fridge
stocked with milk in preparation for a limited edition flavor to
celebrate his arrival.
