Using a large crew (up to 50) of youthful actors, The
Dungeons are as energetic and twitchy as it gets. While they sometimes
lack subtlety, the constant barrage of twisted characters works to keep
the stress levels of hauntgoers high. The first floor features original
ghouls and scenes and showcases the Dungeons’ gallows humor.
The second
floor is largely splatter movie characters and features a disturbingly
“real” Billy (Jigsaw’s puppet from the Saw movies). There’s
also the Monster Garage, the ultimate chop-shop where parts are always
in stock, be they human or vehicular. The Dent Schoolhouse donated many
impressive unused props to the Dungeons, which only added to the high
level of detail within. Even with a $2 price increase, the Dungeons are
still a haunt deal.
