Get jazzy in the park — seriously. Every Sunday through March the
Hamilton County Park District is hosting themed brunches complete with
live performances by the Chris Comer Trio. The brunches alternate weekly
at Sharon Woods (Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 13 and 27 and March 13) and
Woodland Mound (Jan. 16 and 30, Feb. 20 and March 6 and 20) and offer
three serving times: 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (late risers
rejoice). What could make this event even better? A buffet, of course!
This all-you-can-eat spread includes a carving station, omelet bar,
fresh salads, pastries, desserts and other "Sunday Funday" fare.
Sounds
amazing, right? Items range from chef-carved prime rib to smoked
Virginia ham, Belgian waffles, hash browns, fresh fruit and bottomless
beverages. Guests can also purchase mimosas, Bloody Marys, Irish coffee
and French vanilla cappuccinos for $3.50 each. What better way to end
the weekend than with a little smooth Jazz and all the omelets and
mimosas you can handle? The Sunday Brunches in the Park are $13.95 for
adults and $6.95 for children ages 2-12, plus tax. Children under 2 get
in free. Reservations are requested, but walk-ins are welcomed.
Reservations can be made at greatparks.org or by calling Sharon Woods at
513-769-0624 or Woodland Mound at 513-474-3008. A valid Hamilton County
Park District Motor Vehicle Permit is required.
This Sunday's Jazz Brunch features the Chris Comer Trio starting at 10 a.m. at Sharon Woods.
