At the age of five I told my first story. I said that there were giants living in the sky. When each human was born a giant received his or her book. Each giant’s life was spent reading a person’s story. Although I tried my best to convince myself that the distance between the giants and the earth would prevent us from ever meeting, I could never fully do so.
I found myself looking in all directions whenever I could, hoping they would reveal themselves to me. I did this until the day my dad took me to see the Harlem Globetrotters. “Giants!” I squealed. And not just giants, these were giants that could fly, spin like tornadoes in mid-air and twirl orange globes on their fingertips! The Harlem Globetrotters are back in Cincinnati on Friday for a one-day spectacular at US Bank Arena. For those who are afraid of clowns, this is a circus you can go to! For those that are convinced sports are just not your thing, prove yourself wrong. This can also be great practice for your New Year's cheers.
