Ground beef does not a chili make! Taste for yourself at the second annual Park+Vine Vegan Chili Cook-off on Main Street.

Sunday, Jan 29
Park and Vine
The cook-off features over 20 homemade vegan chili recipes, and is sure to turn anyone’s reservations about vegan cuisine into a fear of yesterday. Sample them all and vote for your favorite (if you can pick just three!) this Sunday. Guest Judges include Councilman Chris Seelbach, Honey’s Pastry Chef Summer Genetti, Food Blogger Julie Niesen Gosdin from wine me, dine me and Colonel De Stewert of Colonel De Gourmet Herbs and Spices at Findlay Market. The event begins at 2 p.m., so come hungry for warm chili and cool recipe ideas. Get your tickets early: they cost $15 riday (the price will go up to $20 after). Kids under 10 are free. Register for the contest here ($10) and compete to win cash, gift cards or a veggie cookbook.
