As
the warmer weather approaches the urge to get the bike out of the garage floats
through your mind like dandelions on a breezy April afternoon. The Public
Library of Cincinnati and the Hamilton County Main Library rep Bike Month in
style with their bike expo. You don’t have to be an avid bike rider to attend.
Bike exhibits feature the latest advancements in technology while local
organizers including MoBo Bicycle Coop, Queen City Bike and League of American
Bicyclists will be on hand to answer questions about everything there is to
know about biking. There will also be plenty of crafts on hand to keep the kids
occupied. Author Bobbi Montgomery will take you on a narrative ride as she
discusses her book “Across America by Bicycle,” an account of her ride from
Oregon to Maine. Metered parking is available, but why pay when you can cruise
in on two wheels? Located in the Children’s Garden at the Public Library of
Cincinnati’s Main Library. Ninth and Vine streets, Downtown.
Free. For more
information call 513-369-6900.
