Cincinnati singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Brian Olive, formerly of The Greenhornes and Soledad Brothers and currently an acclaimed solo artist, has a new music video. The clip is for the song "Left Side Rock," a beaming ray of vintage-inspired Psychedelic Pop off of Olive's second album, Two of Everything. A press release announcing the unusual video calls it a "moving collage," as it's essentially a collection of several still photographs of Olive and his bandmates strung together and timed to the music, with the quick edits making it resemble stop-motion animation. Olive — whose second solo album has been garnering praise from many music outlets, including Mojo and Popmatters — launches a brief six-date tour in support of Two of Everything tomorrow in Cleveland. Check out the "Left Side Rock" video below.
