Clifton Heights Music Festival 5 Begins TONIGHT

Tonight is the kick-off for the fifth installment of the Clifton Heights Music Festival, a constantly excellent showcase (and increasingly popular — attendance grew over 700 % from 2009 to 2010) of some of the best music being made in Greater Cincinnati. The diversity is as impressive as the quality of acts, featuring everything from Roots Rock, Hip Hop, Folk, Garage Rock  and Indie Pop to Punk, Electronica, Funk, Hard Rock, Jam, Reggae and … well, you get the idea.

Six venues around the Clifton Heights neighborhood (next to the University of CIncinnati campus) will present music tonight and tomorrow, starting at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $8 for a one-night pass or $12 for a two-nighter. Tickets can be purchased in advance here or at any of the participating venues tonight and tomorrow.
