What can $5,000 buy in Cincinnati? A house in Camp Washington. In January of 2012, Mark Dejong purchased a home for $5,000 and spent a year creatively reconstructing it. With the curatorial assistance of Krista Gregory, the opening celebration of the 5K House includes an art exhibition whose work reflects formal concerns of craft and structure, aligning its sensibility with that of the expressive, reconstructed architecture of the home. The house and accompanying 10 artists will be open to the public every Saturday from January 19 - February 9.
