The best way to experience the Springboro Haunted Hayride is alongside a bunch of ’fraidy cats. While walk-through haunts depend on your feeling alone and trapped, dark rides are all about stirring up a crowds frenzy. Even if you're not scared, it's fun to catch your friend tumbling onto the floor of the haywagon and screaming after a ghoul climbs up behind her. This is one long, slow burn of a firecracker that makes a great date destination. After the ride, you can dig into refreshments in the barn and then, if you still have the courage, head out to the Black Bog. The ominous Bog features a delightfully terrifying stroll through a haunted woods.
