Uta Barth Lecture

Shawn Buckenmeyer
7 p.m., Wednesday February 22 | Free

The FOTOFOCUS Lecture and Visiting Artist series celebrates its 16th year with a new year of lectures.  The first lecture in the series is by photographer Uta Barth at the Fath Auditorium at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Barth, an internationally recognized photographer, is the 31st artist to participate in the FOTOFOCUS Lecture and Visiting Artist series. Her artwork is made up of blurred backgrounds, cropped frames and natural qualities of light often giving them a painterly abstraction. Admission is free and reservations are not required. Early arrival is advised. A reception open to the public follows the lecture in the Cincinnati Art Museum's Great Hall.
