In the Spring of 1912, the world’s largest moving object set sail from England for New York City with 2,223 people onboard. In the Spring of 2012, Cincinnati Music Theatre will present Titanic: The Musical, a tribute to the dreams and aspirations of those who sailed aboard the great achievement of “The Remarkable Age.”

The main arts performance venue downtown is home to touring Broadway shows as well as a number of local arts organizations, from Cincinnati Ballet to Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative. The Cincinnati Arts Association manages the Aronoff Center, Music Hall and Memorial Hall and also produces its own comedy shows, music concerts, touring children’s productions, touring dance companies and other events, mostly at the Aronoff Center.
