Printmaking has revolutionized throughout the course of its existence, but the exhibition Printmaking Today, being showcased at the Cincinnati Art Museum until Aug.19, chooses to focus on its standing in the first decade of the 21st century. Visual overload in today's society influences these artists' take on modern printmaking, creating a pallet that is anything from violent to playful. The artists have experimented with varying techniques and forms, and continue to draw a wider audience than ever before.
