Supporting MOTR means supporting local farms, vendors and great live music. Named for Music in Over-the-Rhine and pronounced "motor," this recent addition to the Main Street scene features nightly live music (from local favorites to touring national acts), a patio, a sweet jukebox and full menu that transcends pub grub. Highlights include the hand-packed, classic MOTR Burger, Vegan BLT (with soy-marinated tofu cooked in hickory smoke and maple syrup), St. Francis Mac and Cheese (a more stringy, less creamy version with crunchy breadcrumbs and a bit of spice) and, of course, an excellent beer, wine and cocktail selection. The main room is dominated by a big vintage bar that looks as if it's been around since Over-the-Rhine's beer-brewing heyday, and there's even a cozy downstairs area for those who want to partake in more intimate conversations.
