Perpetually squabbling single godparents (Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel) must step up to raise their godchild after an accident claims the lives of their best friends. The premise, which throws these two together, is so typically cliched you might wonder why bother investigating it, especially when it's executed in such rote fashion as director Greg Berlanti does. Grade: D-plus.  

The severity of this grade is by no means an attempt to leave a searing scarlet brand marking it as the worst film ever made, but it does signify that the filmmakers committed the unforgivable sin of taking a premise that could be magical and rendering it in the most inept and mundane fashion. Grade: F.
