Celebrity gourmand Anthony Bourdain was asked by a reader
during a live chat on Gawker.com to validate the quality of Cincinnati
chili; he responded that it was not good but could be “enjoyable when
stoned.” CINCINNATI -2
Sonny’s
Three Meat Burger in Anderson Township hasn’t been open terribly long
(since late November last year) but a quick perusal on Google brings up
many positive reviews from happy, satisfied customers. The customer
satisfaction isn’t hard to understand once you’ve been to Sonny’s, eaten
the food and experienced the superior level of service the employees
provide.
Dear MidPoint Performer: Welcome to Cincinnati, the city I've enjoyed living, working and making music in for the past 20 years. I hope your experience is a great one. And I hope you don't leave. Really. Take a good hard look around while you're here. The rent is cheap, the architecture and geography are stimulating and the people are generally sweethearts. But Cincinnati is also building something, and we need more builders with your kind of tools.
Over the course of about eight months I watched almost every episode of the ’90s television series Northern Exposure. I was obsessed. That might explain why I recently felt so at home in a booth at The Blind Moose.
I walked down to Flo’s Plate Full of Soul (133 E. Court St., Downtown, 513-421- 3567) from CityBeat World Headquarters last week with a couple staffers. The new girl in the office, a vegetarian, picked out a nice Thai place on the way to Flo’s as a backup. She suspected Flo’s vegetarian options might be minimal. When we arrived, we checked out the menu briefly, and she bid us farewell.
