People love Dojo at Findlay Market for
their gelato. I am hopeless in the face of their delicious affogato.
This espresso/gelato float has gotten me through many a difficult day.
On a recent visit, Dojo owner Michael Christner advised me that he was
about to up the ante.

you have out-of-town guests, you’re going to want to take them (or
they’ll want to be taken) to some rather famous Cincinnati
establishments. Jean-Robert’s Table, Skyline, and Graeter’s all have
national cache, and with good reason. But how about you surprise your

Yes, it’s May again, and time to get
ready for Mother’s Day! I have some advice: Do not buy your mom a
present! It’s just one more thing that, when she eventually moves, you
will have to carefully wrap in layers of bubble wrap, put in a box,
attach the lid on with miles of tape and carry out to the truck.
