For the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament, four teams in the Sweet 16 — a qualified quarter — are from the state of Ohio, with Cincinnati, Xavier, Ohio and Ohio State moving on to make up 25 percent of the remaining teams fighting for a chance at basketball supremacy.  

The NCAA Tournament comes around every year, which is great for those of us who believe it to be the greatest postseason event in sports — the first two days of which are particularly dramatic and exciting.  

The weather is getting cooler and the days are beginning to shrink. Yes, summer is slowly coming to an end, but don't be sad: Area college and university campuses are flooded again with young, energetic, happy college students breathing life back into this old town.
