Andy Woodhull is a comedian on the rise. In August he was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and he just taped an episode of Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed, as well as a spot for DirecTV’s Gotham Comedy Live. “I got married a year ago,” he says. “In the marriage I got two step daughters, so I’m talking about that a lot.” While at Go Bananas this week, Woodhull will be recording a new CD. “It’s going to be called Stepdad, or Stepfather, or Stepparenting.” There have been a few challenges so far. “One of the things my wife and I fought about when I moved in with her was this set of dishes I had from when I lived with a previous girlfriend,” he recalls. “And I pointed out that she still had the two daughters. It’s not like she showed up empty-handed.”
