Outdoor stand-up sets are a thing now — just ask Dave Chappelle. And Montgomery's Go Bananas Comedy Club is adapting to COVID-19 by hosting their own "In the Elements" stand-up series.
On Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15, they will be hosting outdoor 8 p.m. shows featuring a slew of comedians. There will be 110 tickets to each show.
Table service will be provided by neighbor bar The Belle and the Bear and, since the comedy club is currently undergoing some renovations, you can also use The Belle and the Bear's bathroom.
Basic rules:
- Masks are required when you're moving around, interacting with a server or entering the bar to use the bathroom; don't be a dick about it.
- The bathroom has a one-in, one-out policy. If a line forms, social distance.
- Tickets have to be purchased in pairs with a maximum of four people per party.
- You can bring your own chair, although seating will be provided.
- The kitchen is closed, so you're allowed to bring your own snacks.
If these shows go well, there will be more in the future.

Tickets are $12 each. Shows are 21 and up. If it rains, the shows will be canceled and you'll get a refund.
