A beam of light in a rather dark year: The Big Bounce America is headed for the Queen City this fall to offer a little bit of youthful jubilance to both kids and kids at heart.

The touring attraction will bring the "world's biggest bounce house" and other extravagant inflatables to Cincinnati's Heroes Sports Park (2175 Springdale Road, Springdale) from Sept. 17-19.

Described as "the Taj Mahal of bounce houses" by online publication Thrillist, the Big Bounce America Cincy stop will feature three different inflatable attractions to explore during your ticket time: The World's Biggest Bounce House; bouncy sports arena Sport Slam; and outer space-themed inflatable airSPACE.

Tickets range in price from $19-$39 and are divided into four sections: toddler session for ages 3 and under (and their caretakers), junior session for kids ages 7 and under, "bigger kid session" for ages 15 and under, and the adults-only session for ages 16 and up.

All sessions last three hours, with a dedicated time slot for the World's Biggest Bounce House and unlimited play time in the other bounce houses.

The Big Bounce America has several COVID-19 safety protocols in place, including enhanced cleaning throughout site and required hand sanitizing before entry for guests, limiting capacity when applicable for social distancing and including a checkpoint in the booking process to confirm guests are not displaying COVID symptoms. Mask requirements were not noted on the website's FAQ page.

The website suggests guests wear light clothes to keep cool since the attraction is outdoors and involves a lot of movement, however they advise knee-length pants or full-length trousers. Bouncers may not wear shoes, but socks are a must — they sell branded grip socks for $5 or you're welcome to wear your own.

The attraction goes on rain or shine, so dress appropriately.

If you didn't get enough fun at the local stop, Big Bounce America plans to stop in Columbus and Louisville next spring.
