Cincinnati was recently named the 16th best city in the nation to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and these parties help prove that distinction. If you're looking for somewhere to chug green beer on March 17 itself, or just start drinking with your breakfast, these events have you covered.

Note: This is not a comprehensive list of every St. Patrick's Day party or bar serving green beer.

St. Patrick's Day at Molly Malone's
Molly Malone's in Covington is an Irish pub year-round but goes very green for St. Patrick's Day. They are hosting a full-on party on March 17 with kegs and eggs, green beer, Irish entertainment on two stages and themed T-shirts for the first 100 guests. They'll be closing down Court Street in Covington and putting up a tent for all-day entertainment. Kegs and eggs start 7 a.m. March 17. $10 admission. 112 E. St. Patrick's Day at Fifty West
If you head to Fifty West Brewing Company this St. Patrick's Day, you might find a pot of gold somewhere else other than at the end of a rainbow: in your own toilet. The brewery is serving up glitter-infused green American lager for the holiday, on tap until it runs out. To entertain you while you imbibe, the brewery will have performances from live bagpipers and Irish dancers. Bar opens at 11 a.m. March 17. St. Patrick’s Day at Monkey Bar & Grille
The Monkey Bar is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with green beer and breakfast, plus live music all day. Food trucks parked on-site will vary throughout the day and include Steak It Easy, The Boozy Bakester and Taste of Mexico. Bar opens 9 a.m. March 17. St. Patrick’s Day at Jerry’s Jug House
Jerry’s is celebrating with green Miller High Life, Guinness and Irish whiskey, plus the special of the week: a sandwich with oven-roasted turkey, sharp cheddar, bacon and thousand island dressing on a roll. St. Patrick's Day Madness at Keystone Bar & Grill

St. Patrick's Day at Murphy's Pub
For those who are truly dedicated to celebrating St. Patrick's Day, head over to Murphy's Pub when the doors open at 5:30 a.m. Eat all three meals there with free breakfast at 7 a.m., a free coney bar at 11 a.m., Buffalo's Best Wings served from 5-9 p.m. and at 11 p.m. there will be free pizza. On the drinks side, green beer will be served the whole day, well drinks will be $1.50 from 4-8 p.m. and for the whole month of March, you can enjoy a $6 green Long Island iced tea. 5:30 a.m. March 17. St. Patrick's Day at The Drinkery
The Drinkery is hosting a St. Patrick's party with $3 green beers, $4 Guinness pints, $4 green tea shots and green Jell-O shots. There will be a DJ to provide the soundtrack to your drinking. 4 p.m. March 17. Free admission. 1150 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, facebook.com.

St. Patrick's Day at March First (Woodburn Brewing and FigLeaf Brewing)
March First is opening early on St. Patrick's Day for an upscale take on kegs and eggs... with quiche. The bar will also be serving green beer, Irish Red and grasshoppers. The brewery says Cincy Brew Bus will also be shuttling guests between its sister breweries, Woodburn Brewing and FigLeaf Brewing, which are offering their own themed fun. St. Patrick's Day at Braxton Brewing Co.
Braxton is turning its popular Garage beer green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The party kicks off early with a full Irish breakfast from Parlor on Seventh, beans and all. In addition to green Garage beer, there will also be a "green cocktail" with Jameson, orange juice and blood orange-flavored VIVE seltzer. 9 a.m. March 17. Free admission. 27 W. St. Patrick's Day Dance Party at The Birdcage
The Birdcage is offering DJs and drink specials.
