The Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance returns this year, after cancelling its 43rd-annual event in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Concours d'Elegance will be held from June 12-13 at Ault Park, with a theme of “An Exhibition of Motorsports Excellence.” The gathering will feature racing-themed events in addition to showcasing thirteen classes of “classic, vintage and exotic automobiles and motorcycles.”
The exhibition is a nationally-recognized car show that highlights classic automobiles in addition to hosting interactive events for the community.
The schedule of events includes open-wheel, stock car, endurance, straight-line speed racing and motorcycle racing events, according to a news release. Some vehicles—including the centennial anniversary of Lincoln and the demonstration of “Microcars”—will also be presented in special displays.
Additional features include a beer garden and brunch at the Ault Park pavilion, both of which require additional purchases beyond the standard ticket price. The beer garden will be available 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 13, and tickets will be available day-of at the ticket booth. A separate ticket entitles the ticket-holder to sample up to six craft beers and choose one full pour; additional purchases can be made.
The brunch, which a press release says will feature “gourmet brunch, morning cocktails, and extraordinary desserts,” will be held under a tent area in the pavilion 11 a.m.-1 p.m. June 13.
In 2020, the exhibition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To prepare for the planned 2021 event, organizers will soon release health and safety guidelines to attendees to follow.
“While no one can promise tomorrow, we can assure you that our team is making every effort to produce a Concours event that acknowledges and responds to the inherent challenges of hosting large events during the coronavirus pandemic,” representatives say on the Ohio Concours website.
Tickets are priced at $30 for each adult and $15 for current students with school identification. Children aged twelve and under have free access to the event.
Exhibition organizers promise that additional details of the events will be provided soon.
