Sitcom actor and standup comedian Chris D’Elia will perform at Taft Theatre this spring. Tickets ($29-$79) for D’Elia's March 30 performance at Taft Theatre go on sale this Friday (Nov. 2) via Ticketmaster here.

The New Jersey native got a bit of a late start as a standup, beginning in his mid-20s while trying to get his acting/script-writing career off of the ground. The standup route ended up being beneficial for D’Elia's acting aspirations — after his comedic career took off, he landed a few network TV sitcom roles. He co-starred alongside fellow standup Whitney Cummings on the NBC series Whitney, then nabbed a role on NBC's Undateable. He is currently in the cast of the Freeform channel's Alone Together, which is produced by The Lonely Island members Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.

D’Elia has a huge standup following. His comedy specials have included 2013's White Male. Black Comic on Comedy Central and last year's Man on Fire on Netflix. He also hosts the popular podcast Congratulations with Chris D'Elia.

D’Elia's next big acting role is in the film Life in a Year, a "romantic drama" also starring Cara Delevingne, Jaden Smith, Nia Long and Cuba Gooding Jr.
