A rendering of the future In The Game at Liberty Center

A new place for people of all ages to play is expected to open in Greater Cincinnati this summer.

Family Entertainment Group, a company focusing on game room design, is opening its eighth In The Game location in Liberty Center in August. The arcade will offer 17,000 square feet of fun for both kids and adults, offering the latest in virtual reality technology; a large variety of video, redemption and group challenge games; a 3D-motion-ride theater; axe-throwing; and even a Las Vegas-themed escape room.

In The Game will also have a full-service restaurant and bar, complete with an outdoor patio. The menu features American classics, specialty cocktails and local craft beers.

“Family Entertainment Group is committed to providing fun ways for families to connect and is always looking for new opportunities to bring to communities across the globe,” Scott Brown, Family Entertainment Group’s director of marketing, said in a press release. “We’re confident our premier of the In The Game concept will be an excellent dining and entertainment addition to Liberty Center.”

Family Entertainment Group says the arcade will bring up to 80 full-time and part-time jobs to the Greater Cincinnati area.
