Is there anything more quaint than an ice rink in winter?

If you're interested in ice skating in Cincinnati, there is now one more addition to the rink scene: the Warm 98.5 Ice Rink at Summit Park.

Housed underneath the colorful glass canopy at the park, the rink offers two- and three-hour skate sessions for $7 (skate rental included). Nanny Belle's will be serving up snacks, drinks and hot cocoa. And skate aids (those contraptions that look like a street blockade) will be available to use for free.

"It is such a fun winter tradition, and a great activity for families, friends, or date nights,” says Margaret O’Gorman, general manager of programs and events in the Blue Ash Parks and Recreation Department, in a release.

While last year skaters had to make reservations due to COVID restrictions, this year is all first-come, first-served.

The rink is open through January 3, 2022 and closed for holidays on Nov. 25 and 26; Dec. 24, 25 and 31; and Jan. 1.

Summit Park is located at 4335 Glendale Milford Road, Blue Ash. For more info, visit summitparkblueash.com.

And if you're looking for other spots to skate, Fifty West has constructed a family-friendly winter wonderland — with an ice rink — at its Production Works. And the Fountain Square ice rink is open as well, with skate and bumper car rental.
