Florence will soon be overrun with stubby legs and fluffy butts as the annual Corgipalooza returns this October.

Corgipalooza is an annual meetup put on by local group Cincy Corgis that brings in over 150 corgis from all over the Midwest. This year, it will be held at The BARk Park and Patio in Florence Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While the event is called Corgipalooza, organizers say all breeds of dogs are welcome. Guests can expect games, food trucks, vendors and photo ops, as well as a Halloween parade and costume contest. Categories include best costume for both pups and people and best human/dog costume combo. There will also be lots of raffles and prizes donated from local and web-based businesses and trick-or-treating for kids and dogs.

Entry tickets are only required for dogs and are $5 per dog. Organizers can only accept cash, Venmo or PayPal for entry and raffle tickets.

Cincy Corgis says it’s the largest dog meetup group in Greater Cincinnati with a community of over 2,000 people who love and own Corgis. They host free meetups at local dog parks every month. You can learn more about them here.
