From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on March 7, seven area arts organizations and venues are hosting more than 50 different performances, exhibits and events during ArtsWave's Power of Her Day.
The day features "female-centric, female-storied, female-led and female-involved works of all types," says an ArtWorks release, and is a single-day sampling of their season-wide women-focused initiative, which runs through April 30.
The seven locations are:
- the Behringer-Crawford Museum
- the Clifton Cultural Arts Center
- the Fitton Center for Creative Arts
- the Kennedy Heights Arts Center Lindner Annex
- the Taft Museum of Art
- University of Cincinnati Clermont College
- the Barn in Mariemont
ArtsWave is an area nonprofit that champions the arts. Power of Her Day events are free and open to the public.
