Ask Anything? John Cusack is Coming to Taft Theatre to Talk 'Say Anything'

The actor will participate in a Q&A after a special screening of the 1989 romantic comedy

Beloved romantic comedy Say Anything… turns 30 years old this year and star John Cusack — Lloyd Dobler himself — will be coming to Cincinnati to talk about the classic film.

Originally slated for Aug. 2, the talk was postponed to Nov. 3 due to conflicts with Cusack's filming schedule. If you already bought tickets, hold on them — they'll be honored for the new date.

There will be a special screening of the movie — which costarred Ione Sky and John Mahoney — at Taft Theatre, followed by a "live conversation and audience Q&A" with Cusack.

Tickets ($52.75-$72.75) can be bought at ticketmaster.com.

Released in 1989, Say Anything… marked acclaimed writer/director Cameron Crowe's directorial debut. Fitting in well with the John Hughes films of the era, it was lauded for having a bit more heart than your typical high-school movie. Taking place in the post-graduation summer before Skye's character heads off to college, the movie contained an iconic scene of ’80s cinema, when Cusack's character tries to woo back Skye's Diane Court by standing outside of her bedroom window with a boombox blasting Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes."
