Barbara Millicent Roberts, more commonly known as Barbie, made her debut in March 1959. She was an 11-inch plastic doll with blonde hair, bright pink lips, and sassy outfits that could be purchased for only $3.
Her impressive slew of talents set an example to her adoring fans — you can be anything you set your mind to. In fact, Barbie has traveled to outer space, become president, walked the runway, and celebrated cultures around the world — all in heels!
And to celebrate 60 years of Barbie, the Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Tour will be visiting Kenwood Towne Centre 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6. There will be limited edition, retro-inspired merch that is only available through the truck.
It will be free to stop by and see the hot pink Barbie truck in all its glory. Barbie has been traveling around America since July, practicing social distancing and visiting with her loving fans. Nostalgic Barbie fans won’t want to miss this Cincinnati tour stop.
Kenwood Towne Center, 7875 Montgomery Road, Kenwood.
