'My Favorite Murder' hosts Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark

Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark will be recording an episode of their massively popular comedy/true crime podcast My Favorite Murder at the Aronoff Center on March 16. The show is a part of an extensive 2019 tour itinerary for the show.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. via cincinnatiarts.org, at the Aronoff box office or by calling 513-621-ARTS. Beginning Monday, Nov. 5, there are fan-club opportunities to buy tickets to the show before the general public on-sale; click here for details.

The two friends began My Favorite Murder in early 2016 to indulge their mutual (and fairly — and admittedly — morbid) "true crime" fascination. Standing out from other podcasts thanks to the hosts' sharp humor and rapport, MFM was a hit from the start and new episodes of the program always debut in the Top 10 of the iTunes podcast charts.

Kilgariff is a veteran standup, actor and comedy writer who wrote for and acted in Bob Odenkirk and David Cross' HBO program Mr. Show in the ’90s. Hardstark has hosted various food and travel TV series; in 2016, she co-wrote the book Vintage Cocktails with a Twist: 75 Traditional and Reinvented Drinks. The hosts reportedly met at a party in 2014 and bonded after Kilgariff told a story about witnessing the tragic incident during that year's South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, when a man plowed through a crowd in a car and killed four people.
