In a recent press conference, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow claimed that “there’s not a lot to do in Cincinnati.” After his response went viral on Twitter, Bengals alum Chad Johnson had to set him straight.
Burrow was responding to questions about how the team was faring during this most recent spike of COVID-19 cases. He claims the team hasn’t been going out much because Cincinnati’s nightlife leaves a lot to be desired.
Cincinnati Enquirer Bengals writer Ben Baby tweeted about it, and while some people were not happy with Burrow's estimation, others seemed to agree.
Johnson came to the Queen City’s defense, writing on Twitter, “there’s a Starbucks downtown, a McDonald’s in Covington & a O’ Charley’s in Tri-County which in fact has the best complimentary bread known to man…”
