It’s safe to say at this point during the COVID-19 pandemic, masks aren’t going anywhere for quite some time — regardless of state mandates.

While some obstinately refuse to mask up, others have used their masks to showcase their personality and explore their creativity. The Cincinnati Art Museum is jumping on the creative mask train with their new fine art face masks. Each reusable mask is imprinted with a famous masterpiece from some of the most revered artists in history, like van Gogh’s "Starry Night" and "Sunflowers" and Monet’s "Water Lilies."

Aren't feeling the Impressionism? Why not a don a more abstract mask featuring work by Mondrian or Kandinsky?

The Art Museum previously released a run of fine art masks, which sold out. The masks are priced at $12.95, which isn’t bad for toting around a masterpiece on your face. Plus, the masks help support the Cincinnati Art Museum, which, like other institutions, has struggled during the coronavirus pandemic and related closures.

Masks are machine washable and dryer safe with an adjustable nose bridge and inside pocket that can hold a disposable filter; one 5-layer PM2.5 disposable filter insert is included.

The full catalog of the Art Museum’s fine art masks is available on the Cincinnati Art Museum’s website

The Cincinnati Art Museum is located at 953 Eden Park Drive in Mount Adams.
