The Cincinnati Ballet closes its season with Bold Moves, three works featuring whimsical, precise and powerful choreography.

Dancing to Oz is the world premiere of artistic director Victoria Morgan’s take on the Wizard of Oz. A ballerina named Dottie visits the magical land on a personal journey, complete with original set design, an original score and big costumes.

Bold Moves will also feature the local debut of choreographer Jiří Kylián’s Sechs Tänze, a romp set to dances by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with powdered wigs and 18th-century costumes.

Rounding out the bill is choreographer Ma Cong’s Near Light, which uses movement and a rose to “demonstrate a variety of emotions which can inspire great change and progress.
