Looking for something new to do on the weekends? The Cincinnati Museum Center is opening its doors for special evening hours on select dates beginning Feb. 4.

Visit the museum at night certain Fridays through April, with the last entry for the Science Behind Pixar exhibit and the OMNIMAX at 8 p.m. (the permanent galleries will still close at 5 p.m.). Dates are Feb. 4 and 18; March 4 and 18; and April 1, 8, 15 and 22.

"Whether you're looking for a fresh take on date night, gathering for happy hour or kick-starting your weekend, a night at the museum is your ticket to a memorable experience," says the CMC in a release.

The museum says food and drink options — including wine and beer — will be available.

The Science Behind Pixar, on view through April 24, is an interactive experience that showcases the uses of STEM (science, technology engineering and mathematics), imagination and curiosity, the museum says in a release. Guests can come face-to-face with Pixar characters like Buzz Lightyear, Dory, Mike and Sulley, Edna Mode and WALL•E.

The current OMNIMAX movie is Ancient Caves. Follow paleoclimatologist Dr. Gina Moseley and her team as they descend into remote caves across the globe, from France to Iceland and the Bahamas to Death Valley in California, to collect stalagmite samples to uncover clues about the planet's weather patterns.
