The Cincinnati Pops are helping set the stage for your own Halloween party with a livestream of spooky tunes and Dia de los Muertos favorites from Music Hall.
The Pops, conducted by John Morris Russell, will perform a slew of both horror movie songs and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, narrated by actor Damon Gupton (Criminal Minds).
The full program includes:
- Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor"
- Piazzolla's "Otoño Porteño" (or "Autumn") from Cuatro estaciones porteñas (Four Seasons of Buenos Aires)
- Sibelius' "Valse Triste" from Kuolema
- "Murder" from the classic Hitchcock horror Psycho
- Selections from Jordan Peele's Us
- John Williams' "The Harry Potter Children's Suite: for orchestra
- Debussy's Clair de Lune
- Sousa's Nobles of the Mystic Shrine
- and the "La Llorona," about the traditional Hispanic tale of the weeping woman
