Spot some animals while searching for Easter eggs this weekend at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

On Saturday, April 16 from noon- 5 p.m., the Zoo is hosting its annual Easter celebration with a day full of egg-citing fun for kids and animals alike.

“Kids can meet the Easter Bunny and collect goodies from treat stations spread throughout the Zoo,” said the Zoo’s special events manager Kim Denzler in a press release. “They will also enjoy watching gorillas, cougars, birds, and other animals hunt for eggs.”

There are many activities to check out, from the Komodo dragon egg hunt to the elephant egg smash. Check out the Zoo's full list of Easter activities here.

The event is free with admission. The zoo opens at 10 a.m. and the event starts at noon and lasts until closing time at 5 p.m.
