Saint Patrick's Day Parade

It’s (one day before) Saint Patrick’s Day, the only day of the year you can shamelessly pour Baileys into your morning coffee. That means it’s time to don the tackiest green attire in your closet and brush up on the lyrics of that one Pogues song to celebrate Ireland’s patron saint with Cincinnati’s 53rd annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.

Grab a green beer or distastefully named boilermaker to observe the Catholic cavalcade beginning just outside Paul Brown Stadium. The parade proceeds through Smale Riverfront Park before ending at Freedom Way and Rosa Parks Street.

This year’s honorary grand marshal will be FC Cincinnati’s General Manager, Jeff Berding.

Parade steps off at noon Saturday. Free. The Banks, 120 E. Freedom Way, Downtown, cincystpatsparade.com.
