What Cincinnati restaurant makes a great margarita? How will the big sports teams do this year? What issues should local government focus on? Nobody has more opinions on these and other pressing questions than Cincinnatians themselves. In our column CityBeat Streets, CityBeat reporters are asking local residents about a different topic each week, highlighting the Queen City's good, bad and ugly.

“I’m pretty fearless. I feel like it’s fine, it’s safe for the most part. I like walking around and checking new things out at least two or three days a week.”

“Yes, I walk everywhere. I always feel there’s people out, I feel like there is a strong police presence. I’ve never felt unsafe. I’ve lived down here for a year and never had any issues.”

“Yeah, pretty safe. All the crosswalks are pretty helpful, I feel like there’s one at every street, which is nice. Where I’m from, there’s not a lot of crosswalks or anything, so you’re just out there.”

“Overall, yeah. The only issue is the occasional guy here. I can say I’m satisfied with it. It’s really getting to be more so the people opposed to traffic. Living across from a park with a large homeless population, a lot of male population – only [problem] is the occasional harassment. Overall, I really like it.”
