Cupid's Undie Run for Charity Returns to Cincinnati and it's Exactly What it Sounds Like

The semi-nude run raises funds to combat neurofibromatosis (NF), "a genetic tumor disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 births," says the organization

Help fight neurofibromatosis (NF) in your underwear.

Cupid's Undie Run returns to Cincinnati on Feb. 15 and 100 percent of the net proceeds from the race go to NF research via the Children's Tumor Foundation. According to Cupid's Charity (the nonprofit that hosts the run), "NF is a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and may lead to blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurement, learning disabilities, disabling pain, and cancer. NF affects 1 in every 3,000 births across all populations, ethnicities, and genders equally."

The idea behind the pants-less and pantied run is because those with NF cannot hide their disease or tumors, so runners who want to support the mission of finding a cure can bare all, too. (You can read the origin story of the run online.)

To participate in the run, head to Galla Park (175 Joe Nuxhall Way, The Banks) at noon on Saturday, Feb. 15 to pre-party with music, drinks and mingling. The mile-long race starts at 2 p.m. and ends at roughly 2:15-ish. Then the dance party continues until the event is over at 4 p.m. Cupid's Undie Run costs $40 to attend.

Note: This is a PG-13 event, so keep that in mind when designing your nearly naked costume.
