Recently opened Honduran cafe Unataza Coffee is bringing culture and community together with a dance event series this month.

The shop will host three free Monday night Coffee and Cuban Dance events throughout November.

"Even before having the coffee shop, I dreamt of creating a space where the culture of coffee and dance could be combined," shop owner Alejandra Flores says on the Facebook event page.

The event will offer dance lessons on Nov. 4, Nov. 11 and Nov. 18 by Salsaires Cincinnati and invites both single dancers and partners at any experience level to join in on the fun. "The only requirement is to want to have FUN!" the Facebook event page says.

A coffee social will take place from 6-7 p.m. and classes will run from 7-8 p.m.

The local coffee pop-up opened their brick-and-mortar location in fall of 2019. The coffee shop offers Honduran coffee drinks, a light breakfast/lunch menu and pastries.

For updates about other future events at the shop, follow their Facebook page.
