Recently, Travel + Leisure confirmed what Cincinnatians have known along: the Queen City is home to quite a few stellar hotels.

On July 12, Travel + Leisure magazine released its reader-voted list of the “15 Best City Hotels in the Continental U.S.,” and Cincinnati’s Lytle Park Hotel made the list. “Impeccable service, chic interior design, and exciting new arrivals influenced Travel + Leisure readers,” wrote Travel + Leisure writer Samantha Falewée.

The Lytle Park Hotel from the Marriott Autograph Collection tied with another Autograph Collection hotel, the Morrison House Old Town Alexandria in Alexandria Virginia.

Falewée says that the rankings were based on the following factors: facilities, location, service, food and overall value. Lytle Park scored a 96.42 out of 100 within the ranking system.

The Cincinnati hotel also appeared on Travel + Leisure's “100 Best Hotels in the World” list, which was also compiled using readers' votes.  “Through their votes and comments, our readers championed hotels that delivered great service and thoughtful amenities, ones that make the journey not only easier but also more memorable,” wrote the list's author Chadner Navarro.

The international list used the same ranking system and scored Cincinnati the same. Lytle Park again tied with Morrison House in 71st place overall.

“It might be built into a historic building from 1909, but the amenities in this newly opened hotel adjacent to its lovely eponymous green space are attuned to the discerning tastes of modern travelers,” wrote Navarro.

Lytle Park, located at 311 Pike St., Downtown, offers beautiful rooms and suites in a desirable area, and if you can’t afford a stay, you can grab a drink on their rooftop bar. You can even dine at their in-house, Subito.
