Chants of “Who Dey!” and “Who Dog!” will fill the streets around Washington Park this weekend for the Over-the-Rhine Kennel Club’s second annual, unofficial Cincinnati BengalDog Parade.
“While the Bengals did not make the Super Bowl this year, they certainly came close. And, as the old saying goes, ‘close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and dog parades!’" event organizer Casey Coston says in a press release. “Let’s celebrate the Bengals on a season well done with the appropriate level of dog howling and carousing.”
On Saturday, Feb. 11, dress your pup in their finest Bengals gear – hats, jerseys, bandanas, etc. – and meet at Queen City Radio at 3 p.m. for some “tail”-gating.
Coston says the Lübecker at Queen City Radio will be selling food. Following the parade, you’ll return to the beer garden where you can buy pretzels, beer and more refreshments. They’ll also have free dog treats on hand for your pooch.
