It’s December, which means holiday-themed events are getting into full swing. And you might also need to do a little shopping (either starting or finishing up — who are we to judge?).

The Covington Night Bazaar is back for its fourth year in a row this Saturday, Dec. 1. Local stores, food and booze will be on hand to help you buy or fuel all your remaining gift-purchasing needs.

Find everything from handmade soap to art and refreshments from the likes of Second Sight Spirits, Lil’s Bagels and Roebling Point Books & Coffee. This is an outdoor event, so make sure to dress warm. Don’t miss out on hot buttered rum and “Holly Jolly” cocktails. In addition, look out for a special appearance from the Budweiser Clydesdale horses at the event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Here are some FAQs from the Covington Winter Night Bazaar Facebook event page:

Q: What’s going on at this event?

A: Shop locally from over 2 dozen local artists and crafters; everything from fine art to handmade soap. See the Budweiser Clydesdales who will be with us from 6pm - 9pm. Plus enjoy (for purchase) the Copper Lager and other Budweiser products along with hot buttered rum from Second Sight Spirits, bagel bites and more from Lil’s Bagels, pork sliders and Saratoga chips from Hampton Ridge Farms or coffee and hot chocolate from Robeling Point Books & Coffee - PLUS all the restaurants and bars in Roebling Point (Keystone, The Gruff, Blinker’s, Smoke Justis and Molly Malone’s) will be open and ready to serve you. We’ll have fire pits for cozying to with a warm drink - Come get in the holiday spirit with us!

Q: So this is an outdoor event……in December?

A: Yup! What makes our Night Bazaar so unique is it is hosted outdoors - we have fire pits and lighting to keep everything festive (and our bars and restaurants are ready to serve you), but dress for the weather! Another bonus point, ADMISSION IS FREE!

Q: Can I bring my kids? And my dog?

A: Babies of the human and fur variety are welcome! We ask that dogs be on a leash, socialized for crowds and that you clean up after them.

Q: Where do I park?

A: Street parking is FREE on meters in Covington on Saturdays. There are also pay lots available on Greenup Street. Roebling Point is also a short walk over the Roebling Bridge from the Banks as well.

4 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. Free admission. 302 Court St., Covington, Ky., facebook.com/covingtonnightbazaar.
