The annual Cincinnati Music Festival (CMF) returns to The Banks this weekend, and ahead of all the concerts, you can also expect some more fun happening downtown, including the Frisch's Mobile Roller Rink.

The Frisch’s Mobile Roller Rink is returning to Court Street Plaza Wednesday-Sunday, July 19-23, with some special events to celebrate CMF.

“The iconic Cincinnati Music Festival has been delighting music lovers since 1962. Metro is thrilled to partner with 3CDC to bring even more fun to that weekend with three days of themed roller-skating parties,” Metro CEO and general manager Darryl Haley said in a press release.

Events include:

Wednesday: Check out the Barbie movie-themed skate party from 7-10 p.m. Admission and skate rental will be free that night.

Thursday: Metro’s Hip Hop Skate Party will feature DJ Diamond playing tracks that celebrate 50 years of hip hop. That will run from 7-10 p.m.

Friday: Enjoy 50% off admission and skate rental for the 70s Skate Party in celebration of Metro's 50th anniversary.

Saturday: Metro is hosting a family-focused skate for all ages from 12-4 p.m., and that night, guests can take part in Neighborhood Night with a neighborhood DJ and plenty of eats from local food vendors.

Sunday: The party wraps up with the Sunday Sendoff featuring DJ Diamond from noon to 6 p.m.

The rink will be open from 3-10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; noon to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, and you don’t need reservations. Roller skating admission prices will range from $2-$5 based on the event, with only cashless payments accepted. Outdoor roller skates will be available to rent for $5, or you can bring your own skates.

The Cincinnati Music Festival, featuring headliners Snoop Dogg, Babyface and Al Green, will be happening this week, July 20-22, at Andrew J Brady Music Center (Thursday) and Paycor Stadium (Friday and Saturday). See the full lineup here.

Other CMF-themed events include the CMF Outdoor Music Festival at Washington Park Friday, where artists of color will create their works live from 3-8 p.m. Washington Park will also be hosting its free weekly R&B series, Friday Flow, from 7-10 p.m., along with singer, songwriter and record producer Al B Sure.
